My name is Patrik and smart technology is both my passion and my craft. I have 11 years of experience working with technology abroad — in Los Angeles and the UK — and at home I have built a household that responds to me before I even reach for a switch.

I specialise in voice assistants (smart speakers) and the open Home Assistant platform. That means you are not locked into a single manufacturer — I pick devices that genuinely work together and that you can expand yourself years later.

What people ask me most often

I rent a flat in an apartment block. Is it even possible?

Yes — it is ideal precisely for you. All devices are wireless and installed without touching the wiring. When you move, you take the whole smart home with you.

Voice assistants don't speak Slovak. Will that be a problem?

Hlasové povely sú v angličtine, ale nastavím ich tak, aby boli krátke a jednoduché („lights on“, „good night“). Väčšinu vecí navyše byt robí sám cez automatizácie — hlas je len doplnok. A všetko sa dá ovládať aj appkou v slovenčine či klasickým vypínačom.

What if the internet goes down?

Voice commands are in English, but I keep them short and simple ("lights on", "good night"). Most things the home does on its own via automations — voice is just an add-on. And everything can also be controlled by app or a classic switch.

How much will I save on energy?

It depends on the home and your habits. Smart thermostatic heads and switching off standby devices typically save 10–20% on heating and electricity. With the Comfort package the investment usually pays back within 2–3 years.

Can the system be expanded later?

Yes, any time. You start with the basic package, and a year later add another room or blinds. The devices are mutually compatible and you are not tied to one manufacturer. Just call.

What if something breaks after installation?

For the first 30 days I fine-tune anything for free (3 months with the Premium package). The devices carry a standard warranty. After support ends I am still on the phone — most things we solve remotely in a few minutes.
